Softspoken House Standard is a body care brand concept that I developed while experimenting with making my own DIY household products. I initially began making products at home as a way to reduce costs and minimize unnecessary filler ingredients commonly found in commercial products.
Through that process, I became interested in the idea of creating a body care brand built around simple, recognizable ingredients and thoughtful formulations. I developed the concept for Softspoken House Standard and later pitched the business idea to my collaborator Cynthia.
From that initial concept, I designed the full visual identity and product system for the brand. The goal of the design was to create packaging that feels calm, minimal, and trustworthy. A soft color palette, subtle textures, and understated typography were chosen to reflect the brand’s focus on gentle skincare and simple ingredients.
Softspoken House Standard was designed as a complete brand system, including logo design, product packaging, visual assets, and website design to support the launch and presentation of the product line.

What I Did
The idea for Softspoken House Standard began while I was experimenting with DIY household products as a way to reduce costs and avoid unnecessary filler ingredients. From that experience, I developed the concept for a body care brand centered around simplicity, transparency, and gentle formulations.

I designed the full visual identity for the brand, including the logo, product packaging system, and supporting visual assets. The packaging was designed to balance minimalism with warmth, using soft textures and simple typography to reflect the gentle nature of the products.

I also designed the website layout and digital brand assets to create a cohesive experience across physical products and online platforms. Every design decision focused on reinforcing the brand’s core message: simple, thoughtful body care made with care.
